Here at Wind Point Inspections, we understand that owning a property is one the of the biggest investments of your life so we make it our mission to treat every inspection like we are personally investing in it ourselves. Our inspection standards meet or exceed every standard set by the International Associate of Certified Home Inspectors.
What to Expect:A home inspection goes through the structure of the home, the appliances, and systems to assess for any issues or repairs that are needed to help you understand the overall state of the property. The inspection includes a review of plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, and structure of the home including the roof, attic, visible insulation, walls, windows, doors, and ceiling. During the home inspection we will utilize many different sources of equipment to ensure no area is gone unseen, including those tight areas that cannot be observed by the eye. Some of the equipment you can expect to see include temperature sensors, advanced high technology infrared thermal imaging camera, digital inspection camera, and digital meters which include several moisture meters and self leveling lasers.
Home inspections typically take 2-3 hours, but may vary depending on the size of the property.
We encourage you to walk through the property alongside us during the inspection and ask as many questions as necessary. This will allow us to both learn as much as possible about the condition of the property and to jointly engage in the discovery process. This will be the ultimate time for you to obtain the answers any questions that you may have. During your inspection, we will include many energy saving maintenance recommendations that will help to keep your home lasting forever and your mechanicals in top notch condition.
A detailed comprehensive inspection report will be sent to you within 24 hours following the completion of your home inspection. Our inspection reports are highly detailed, legible and very easy to read and understand. Your inspection report will be categorized into components in order for you to locate specific details right away.
